Apple has prepared a Mac mini, which could potentially be Tim Cook's final product.

The existing Mac mini has not yet received an M5 update and has gone nearly two years without a refresh.

Additionally, the recent out-of-stock status for both the Mac mini and Mac Studio earlier this month could indicate a clearing of inventory in preparation for a launch or be a result of the ongoing memory shortage, possibly a combination of both.

      An October release for both the iMac and MacBook Pro would also mean that Apple refreshes a large portion of its Mac lineup within a single quarter, something it hasn't attempted in years and which presents challenges given the current component market, where memory poses a significant constraint.
