This app, developed by Google, monitors for malfunctioning or dubious apps on your Android device. Intriguingly, it has been installed on millions of smartphones since March 2026.
So, what is Android Pulse exactly?
According to Google's description in the app’s Play Store listing (as noted by 9To5Google), this system app assists with rule distribution and detects anomalies in system resource usage by Android and other applications on your phone.
Reading between the lines, it appears to function as a kind of safeguard that alerts you the moment Android or any installed software begins to act abnormally.
