      Ferrari has just presented a unique supercar at Pebble Beach, named the CZ26. This isn’t a limited edition you can track down; it’s a fully customized Ferrari created specifically for one client, taking two years to complete.

      What sets the CZ26 apart from a typical Ferrari?

      Beneath its distinctive exterior, the CZ26 shares its architecture and performance capabilities with the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. So from a mechanical standpoint, it remains an elite, high-performance hybrid supercar. However, the Ferrari Design Studio, guided by Chief Design Officer Flavio Manzoni, crafted an entirely new body and persona influenced by Italian industrial design from the 1970s. It showcases clean lines, evident functionality, and technical components harmonizing into a cohesive shape.

      The outcome appears lower and wider than the SF90 it’s derived from. The body smoothly transitions from the front fascia to a sharply truncated rear, while a black roof and pillars visually distinguish the cabin from the car's body. The exterior is finished in a sparkling Argento Veloce silver, accented with Rosso Lampante red details illuminating features like the front grille and the new rear diffuser. Even the exhaust tips are made of raw titanium.

      What was the process behind the construction of this car?

      The project commenced with sketches based on the client’s vision, which progressed through virtual development before Ferrari created a full-size clay model. After a few minor adjustments, that clay model evolved into the actual, drivable Ferrari you see today.

      Inside, the cabin reflects the red accents from the exterior, complemented by black technical fabric seats, satin carbon fiber, and a metallic weave fabric for added flair. There’s even an embroidered CZ26 badge, ensuring no one forgets the exclusivity of this vehicle.

      The CZ26 exemplifies that with the same foundational elements as a production Ferrari, a two-year timeline and a discerning client can transform familiar components into something that no one else will ever drive.
