Claude Design will now adhere to your brand guidelines rather than using generic AI-generated mockups.
Claude Design now connects with Adobe, Canva, and other tools.
Anthropic has just launched a significant update for Claude Design, its AI-driven visual creation tool that initially debuted in a research preview. This tool allows users to transform simple prompts into prototypes, presentations, and marketing materials, and now it has even more capabilities.
The recent update introduces support for design systems, an easy transition to Claude Code, a revamped editor, and numerous new app integrations.
Your brand guidelines now influence what Claude creates.
The most significant alteration is the redesigned design system import feature. Users can now import one or multiple design systems from GitHub repositories, design files, or uploaded assets. Claude Design will utilize these authorized components and automatically verify its output against the design system before presenting it to you.
For larger organizations, admins can authorize a single design system and lock it for use across the company, ensuring that all projects remain aligned with the brand.
Anthropic is also enhancing the integration between Claude Design and Claude Code. Teams can now synchronize design systems directly from a local codebase using a new command: /design-sync. Once a design is finalized, it can be transferred to Claude Code without needing to rebuild it from the ground up.
Developers can access Claude Design functionalities from the terminal via the /design command, enabling them to create, edit, import, and export design projects without leaving their development environment.
An upgraded editor and more options to share your work.
Anthropic has also overhauled the editor, adding new controls for dragging, resizing, and aligning elements directly on the canvas. Claude Design now shares usage limits with chat, Cowork, and Claude Code, providing most users with more flexibility before reaching any limits.
Claude Design is also broadening its integration options. Users can now export projects to PDF and PowerPoint, and new connections with Adobe, Canva, Gamma, Lovable, Miro, Replit, Vercel, Wix, and other platforms facilitate continued work across various tools.
You can explore it at claude.ai/design or directly in the sidebar of the Claude desktop application.
