Huawei makes smart devices an extension of humanity.
Huawei held a global launch of its new products in Bangkok. The event was themed "Ignite Your Spark." The main idea was to showcase how comprehensive and versatile technologies transform familiar gadgets into a natural extension of the user. The focus was on a tablet, a smartphone, and several models of smartwatches - from luxury to children's.
The tablet that is lighter than most books
The first novelty was the HUAWEI MatePad Pro Max. The manufacturer claims it is the thinnest and lightest tablet with a screen larger than 13 inches. The standard version weighs 499 grams with a thickness of 4.7 millimeters. Even the version with the proprietary PaperMatte display barely exceeds 500 grams. With such portability, the device claims to be a full-fledged replacement for a computer. Engineers focused on mobile productivity and equipped the tablet with a full set of tools for creativity and work. Essentially, Huawei offers an ultra-thin flagship that does not sacrifice functionality for design.
A smartphone focused on endurance and durability
Next up was the HUAWEI nova 15 Max. In this device, the company emphasized autonomy, photo quality, and the durability of the body. The battery has a capacity of 8500 milliamp-hours. Apparently, the engineers found a way to fit such a battery inside without turning the device into a brick. The 50-megapixel camera uses a sensor with RYYB color filters. This solution helps maintain natural color reproduction even in poor lighting or backlight conditions. Completing the picture is a bright OLED screen and a pair of stereo speakers that create an immersive experience. The body is promised to be ultra-reliable: the smartphone is resistant to shocks and drops.
Watches for all ages and statuses
Special attention was given to wearable devices during the presentation. The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 line retained its recognizable rectangular case but received a brighter and more elegant design. The novelty offers a mini-workout feature — short and understandable exercises designed to motivate users to move every day.
For professional runners, the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition was released. These watches are aimed at marathon runners and those preparing for competitions. They use the RAI running index and an expanded training control panel. The device helps users understand their progress better and train more effectively.
At the other end of the spectrum are the luxury HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition watches. This model was created in collaboration with jeweler Francesca Amfitheatrof. The case is adorned with 99 natural diamonds, and the sapphire glass has undergone diamond treatment. According to the creators' concept, the watches symbolize the energy of awakening nature.
The children's smartwatches HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 deserve special mention. The device is equipped with two cameras, with the front one having an ultra-wide angle of 110 degrees. The large 1.82-inch AMOLED screen allows the child to control the functions. The removable rotating case and augmented reality support turn the watch into both a toy and a photography tool.
Ecosystem strategy instead of individual hits
Looking at the presentation as a whole, it becomes clear that Huawei is no longer betting on a single flagship smartphone. The company is consistently expanding its presence in all areas, starting from working on tablets to jewelry accessories. Each device is tailored for a specific task, but they are all united by a common philosophy. Technologies are becoming comprehensive and versatile, meaning users can choose exactly the gadgets that fit their lifestyle.
