Logitech's latest G512 X gaming keyboard delivers exceptional performance alongside extensive customization options.
Logitech G has introduced a new keyboard aimed at gamers who treat their workstation like a quest. The G512 X TMR Analog/Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is designed for those who appreciate refining every aspect of their gear, from the behavior of key presses to the way lighting interacts with the desk. It features analog control, swappable switches, programmable actions, dual dials, and an eye-catching RGB lightbar, combining these elements into one highly customizable device.

How much control can one keypress offer?
The standout feature is the TMR-powered analog input. Whereas typical keyboards register a command at a fixed point, the G512 X can detect how far down a key is pressed, granting players enhanced control over various actions.
For instance, in racing games, a light press may facilitate gentle steering or acceleration, while a firmer press could produce a more aggressive response. In flight simulations, this concept can aid in achieving smoother maneuvers. In shooter games, users can program layered commands based on the depth of their key presses.

Moreover, users can assign two actions to a single key press using the Multipoint Action feature available through the Logitech G HUB software. A gentle press can execute one action, while a deeper press triggers another. The keyboard includes Second Actuation Pressure Point (SAPP) rings, which provide a tactile feedback at the second activation point, enabling users to sense when the secondary input is about to register rather than relying solely on timing.
How much customization is available?
The G512 X accommodates both analog and mechanical switches via its hybrid switch beds, enabling users to choose which keys utilize analog input and which maintain a traditional mechanical setup. It supports a variety of popular analog switches, as well as both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical options.
It comes equipped with nine Gateron KS-20 analog switches, five SAPP rings, and keycap pullers. Logitech has also incorporated storage at the back of the keyboard to keep these small accessories organized when not in use.

The two customizable dials can be programmed for various controls, including volume, scrolling, brightness, or in-game functions. The RGB lightbar enhances the aesthetic appeal with dynamic slash-style lighting effects, and buyers can also opt for an acrylic palm rest that synchronizes with the keyboard's RGB lights.
The G512 X is available in both black and white. It will be released on LogitechG.com starting April 28, 2026, and will be available at select global retailers from May 2. Pricing for the 75 layout begins at $179.99, while the 98 layout starts at $199.99.
