Porsche unveils an all-electric Cayenne Coupe featuring an impressive power enhancement.
Porsche
The Porsche Cayenne Coupe has become one of the most popular models in the Porsche lineup. Launched in 2019, it has experienced remarkable sales growth, representing 40% of all Cayenne sales in the US in 2025. Following this success, Porsche has announced a fully electric version.
The electric Cayenne Coupe features a distinctive design with a sloping roofline referred to by Porsche as the “flyline,” reminiscent of the 911. It has a lower stance compared to the standard Cayenne SUV, a seamless rear window, and a drag coefficient of 0.23, enhancing its efficiency.
What are the performance specifications?
The performance and range of an EV are crucial. To address this, Porsche has unveiled three models of the Cayenne Coupe, offering various performance levels and price points.
All three variants utilize an 800-volt powertrain and adaptive air suspension. The base Cayenne Coupe Electric produces 435 hp and 615 ft.-lbs. of torque, capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
The intermediate S Coupe model increases power to 657 hp and reaches 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, while the Turbo Coupe delivers 1,139 hp and 1,106 ft.-lbs. of torque, achieving 0-60 mph in just 2.4 seconds.
Max Power | Max Torque | 0-60 | Top Track Speed
--- | --- | --- | ---
Cayenne Coupe | 325 kW (435 hp) | 615 ft.-lbs. | 4.5 s | 143 mph
Cayenne S Coupe | 490 kW (657 hp) | 796 ft.-lbs. | 3.6 s | 155 mph
Cayenne Turbo Coupe | 850 kW (1139 hp) | 1106 ft.-lbs. | 2.4 s | 162 mph
In addition to its speed, the vehicle can tow up to 7,716 lbs, which is impressive for an electric coupe.
How quickly does it charge?
The 113 kWh battery supports 800-volt DC fast charging. With a suitable 400 kW charger, Porsche claims it can charge from 10 to 80% in under 16 minutes under optimal conditions. While this may not match the charging speeds of some Chinese competitors, it remains quite competitive.
Regarding pricing, like other Porsche models, it does not come cheap. The Cayenne Coupe Electric starts at $113,800, with the S model priced at $131,200, and the Turbo at $168,000, excluding a $2,350 delivery fee. Orders are currently being accepted, with deliveries expected to commence by the end of summer 2026.

However, it seems poised to remain absent from US dealerships.
