RayNeo's latest iO Smart Glasses introduce a compact display within your field of vision.
The $479 glasses provide live translation, 112-language dictation, and an AI memory log that adapts to your daily routines to offer personalized daily summaries.
RayNeo has introduced a new set of smart glasses aimed at reducing the frequency of phone checking. The newly launched iO Smart Glasses feature a small MicroLED display positioned in the upper corner of your field of view, enabling you to view notifications, your schedule, and other quick updates without needing to grab your smartphone.
A discreet display designed to remain unobtrusive
The iO employs RayNeo’s Firefly Engine Nano, a monochrome green MicroLED display condensed to 0.6 mm that can achieve brightness up to 1,300 nits. It is integrated into a lightweight 33g frame that includes a 240mAh battery, four microphones, and a bone conduction sensor that filters your voice from surrounding noise. RayNeo estimates the battery life to be up to 48 hours under normal usage and 96 hours on standby.

The glasses do not include speakers. Voice commands are processed via the bone conduction sensor and microphones, but there is no audio playback, ensuring that interactions are purely visual. A scroll wheel akin to the Digital Crown on the Apple Watch allows for menu navigation, and motion sensors facilitate head gesture controls. An IP54 rating provides protection against splashes and light rain. Additionally, there is a small LED on the temple that illuminates when the microphones or translation features are active.
Live translation, dictation capabilities, and an AI memory log
The hardware supports two of the iO’s more ambitious software features. The first is focused on translation and dictation; Live Translation accommodates 40 languages, while the dictation feature expands to 112 languages. The glasses also come with an auto-teleprompter that scrolls text as you speak.

The second feature operates unobtrusively in the background. Dubbed the “Ambient AI Life Log,” this system monitors your habits and workflows over time to tailor its daily summaries to your needs. The iO Smart Glasses also present a dashboard displaying your schedule, alerts, and weather updates with a simple glance upwards.
For the AI functionalities, the iO incorporates RayNeo’s own assistant alongside Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite at no extra charge. A $9.99 monthly subscription grants access to other models within the companion app, including ChatGPT 5.1, Gemini 2.5 Pro, Claude Sonnet 4.5, Claude Opus 4.1, and DeepSeek V3.
Pricing and availability
The RayNeo iO Smart Glasses will become available for purchase on September 4 through the company’s website and Amazon. They will be offered in two configurations: the standard version priced at $479 and the charging case bundle at $529.
In addition to the iO Smart Glasses, RayNeo has introduced a new Google TV streaming device known as Pocket TV Pro. Designed to pair with the new RayNeo GT and GT Max AR glasses, this device supports Dolby Vision playback. RayNeo has not yet disclosed pricing or availability information for the Pocket TV Pro.
