**Quick Summary**
Two years ago, I tested the Viture Pro smart glasses. I admired their stylish design and impressive display, but a few minor issues prevented them from being an obvious choice for XR enthusiasts. The high price of $459 made them a hard sell for anyone not deeply invested in the product or lacking extra cash. However, the new Viture Pro 2 presents a different story.
At a competitive price of $299, the Viture Pro 2 aims to compete with more expensive rivals in terms of display quality and brightness, while also providing vision correction at no added cost. The build quality appears outstanding for its price range, and the software options are quite satisfying, no matter the device you carry. After using it for a few weeks as a personal travel monitor and gaming display, I’m convinced that it is the leading entry-level pair of XR glasses, as long as you are aware of the trade-offs VITURE made to achieve this price point.

**Viture Pro 2 Design and Build**
Let's clarify the name first, as it confused me too. The "Pro 2" implies a direct successor to the original (and much pricier) VITURE Pro from two years ago. Fortunately, the second generation is not simply a sequel. Rather, it represents the company’s new entry-level model. Since the first Pro, Viture's premium offerings have transitioned to the Luma line, which now includes the base Luma model at $399, the Luma Pro at $499, the Luma Ultra at $599, and the head-tracking Viture Beast at $549. So, while it is labeled "Pro," the Pro 2 is positioned at the lower end of the spectrum at $299.
Now let’s delve into the important parts. Viture consistently produces the most fashionable glasses available, and this model is no exception. From the front, it closely resembles the Viture Luma Pro, except for the sides. Compared to its predecessor, the Viture Pro 2 is slimmer and lighter, and it does not feel oversized or appear to protrude too far from the eyes. My brother, who modeled for the product shots, has a relatively narrow face, yet the glasses fit like any other pair of stylish sunglasses.
The Viture Pro 2 features a matte black plastic finish accompanying the tinted lenses, giving them a premium look and feel comparable to the more expensive Luma models. Apart from a metallic orange V accent on the left piece and a glossy black oval near the nose bridge, there are no distinguishing features that reveal their true purpose. While
