CMF is set to release new earbuds, and I have a strong idea of what they might be.
CMF teases new wireless earbuds that may be the Buds Pro 3
CMF by Nothing
CMF, the budget-oriented offshoot of Nothing, has begun teasing its upcoming wireless earbuds. Although the specific name has not been disclosed, it is likely that we are looking at the successor to the CMF Buds Pro 2.
A teaser shared on CMF’s official X account features a single in-ear earbud viewed from below. It displays a metallic silver finish, a stem that seems to have two microphone openings, and a silicone eartip in CMF’s characteristic orange. CMF simply teases it as “a hint of what’s next,” without providing a launch date or further specifications.
Reasons I believe these may be the CMF Buds Pro 3
While CMF might just be getting ready to release the standard Buds 3, its prior release pattern makes the Pro model a likely candidate. The initial CMF Buds Pro was launched in September 2023, several months ahead of the regular CMF Buds, which debuted in March 2024. This trend continued with the next iteration—the Buds Pro 2 launched in July 2024, followed by the Buds 2 series in April 2025.
If CMF adheres to the same naming convention, the earbuds being teased are most likely to be called CMF Buds Pro 3, rather than simply Buds 3 or another 3 series variant. However, this isn’t confirmed yet. Reports have also suggested that the teaser might refer to the third-generation CMF Buds, leaving the exact model uncertain.

There's ample room for improvement
Having previously used the CMF Buds Pro 2, I have a clear wishlist for what CMF might be developing next. The earbuds offered significant value, featuring dual drivers, LDAC support, strong ANC, long battery life, and the Smart Dial integrated into the charging case.
The Smart Dial was one of my preferred features, allowing volume adjustment or playback control without needing to reach for my phone, which was genuinely convenient, though unintentional presses could be bothersome. I would also appreciate if CMF could reduce the heavy bass and provide users with greater control over the EQ. While these concerns aren't crucial given CMF's typical price point, they are aspects where a new Pro model could make substantial enhancements.

Supreme collaborates with JBL on tiny speakers, because red alone wasn't sufficient
Supreme has identified JBL’s red Go series speakers and deemed their color inadequate. The streetwear brand has introduced a special-edition JBL Go 5 as part of its Fall/Winter 2026 collection. It boasts Supreme’s iconic red hue, prominently featuring a large white Supreme logo on the front. Additionally, it sports white controls on the top and JBL branding incorporated into the lanyard. JBL already offers its regular Go 5 in red, so this collaboration does not introduce any significant alterations.
