Ugreen's newest travel adapter features 100W of power, four ports, and a display all in a single charger.
Ugreen’s latest $55 charger features a small display for 100W of power
With the myriad of devices I utilize daily, I’ve reached a point where a new charging brick needs to offer some smart capability or improvement for me to consider purchasing it. The Ugreen Nexode Pro 100W 4-Port GaN Charger with Smart Display has quietly launched in the US after debuting in the UK.
It has a list price of $64.99, but Ugreen and Amazon are currently promoting it for $54.99. This travel adapter comes with three USB-C ports, one USB-A port, and provides up to 100W of total charging power in a compact GaN wall charger.
How that small screen makes a big difference
The display is what significantly distinguishes this Nexode Pro from any other generic black charging brick. It shows the total output, individual port wattage, charging protocol, and internal temperature in real time. Ugreen also allows you to rotate the display for easy readability, regardless of the outlet orientation.
While all these features may seem excessive for a simple charger, anyone who frequently connects a laptop, phone, tablet, and accessories knows how challenging it can be to verify that each device is receiving the expected power. There’s ample power to monitor too. USB-C1 and USB-C2 can each deliver up to 100W individually; USB-C3 can provide 65W, and USB-A reaches 22.5W. Ugreen claims that a single 100W connection can charge a 14-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro to about 54% in 30 minutes under their testing conditions.
One brick to dominate the bag
Ugreen also features a foldable US plug, and its GaN design keeps the adapter more compact compared to the company’s five-port Nexode Pro 160W model. Additionally, it includes built-in temperature monitoring and safeguards against overheating, overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuits.
The charger can smartly distribute its 100W total output when multiple devices are connected, meaning that plugging in four devices won't allow all of them to receive 100W simultaneously. Priced at $54.99, this combination becomes quite appealing. While many GaN chargers can power a laptop and phone from the same outlet, Ugreen’s small display allows me to see exactly what the brick is doing while performing its tasks.

The phone you can actually repair yourself is finally arriving in the US
A phone designed for repair rather than replacement is officially making its way to the United States.
Most smartphone buyers in the US tend to favor established brands, such as Apple, Samsung, and Google. While these companies certainly produce impressive smartphones, they all fall short in terms of repairability.
Breaking the display could lead to repair costs exceeding $300. If you want to replace the battery, it will cost at least $100, and even if you’re willing to pay, self-repair isn’t an option.
Samsung’s more affordable Galaxy S26 FE might include a camera feature I truly loved
Horizon Lock is set to be included in the most budget-friendly Galaxy S26 model.
Recent leaks have provided a significant amount of information about the Galaxy S26 FE in the past few weeks. The hardware specifications sound frustratingly similar, and the design is predictably undergoing only minor updates. Now, some hands-on videos have emerged showcasing something that piques my interest considerably.
Two apparent Galaxy S26 FE units have been spotted in real-world footage, including videos shared by the TikTok account @_samz02 and another reposted on X by Bradley, or @VerdeSelvans. Both demonstrate a purple or violet phone featuring Samsung's updated S26-style camera module, and most notably, the Horizontal Lock feature is visible within the camera app.
The best funny and useful Siri commands for iOS and macOS
There was a time when Siri was the top voice assistant. Then it lost its status to competitors like Google Assistant and Alexa. With the emergence of AI assistants such as Google Gemini and ChatGPT Voice, the competition has intensified further.
Fortunately, after years of stagnation, Apple has finally given Siri the attention it needed. While there's still much work to be done, I can't deny that I'm enjoying this revamped Siri, which has become more beneficial in my daily life than ever before.
