Supreme placed its box logo on JBL's small speakers, as plain red was insufficient.
Supreme’s JBL Go 5 collaboration may be the most anticipated red gadget ever
Supreme seemingly deemed JBL’s red Go series speakers were not red enough in the right way. The streetwear label has unveiled a special edition of the JBL Go 5 as part of its Fall/Winter 2026 lineup. It features Supreme's signature red color with a large white Supreme logo on the front.
White controls adorn the top, and JBL branding is incorporated into the integrated lanyard. JBL already offers a standard red version of the Go 5, making this collaboration not significantly different from the original.
JBL
Supreme altered exactly what you would expect
Aside from branding the grille with Supreme, the streetwear brand made some visual tweaks. The collaboration features a slightly different shade of red compared to JBL’s existing model, while the white buttons stand out in contrast to the regular Go 5's matching red controls. The branded lanyard completes the redesign.
Internally, the speaker remains unchanged. The Go 5 provides eight hours of regular playback plus an additional two hours with Playtime Boost, ambient edge lighting, IP68 water and dust resistance, and a drop-resistant design. It also supports Auracast, AirTouch stereo pairing, Bluetooth 6.0, and lossless playback via USB-C.
The Supreme markup remains unknown
Supreme has yet to reveal the price or exact release date for its Go 5 collaboration. The regular speaker debuted in the US at $54.95, with JBL currently listing it at $44.95 as of now. This positions it as one of the best budget speakers, but it's intriguing to see how the price from Supreme will affect its value.
The standard Go 5 already includes the same audio components, lighting, durability, and connectivity in ten color options, including that conveniently suitable red variant. The Supreme edition certainly looks sleeker with contrasting white accents. However, the final price will determine whether it maintains its solid value or shifts toward being a fashion statement.
