      - Lacks a precise estimate of remaining battery time

With two young children and two dogs, my floors undergo a significant stress test from vacuums daily. With constant crumbs, pet hair, dirt tracked in, and more, there’s always something to clean. The Tineco Pure ONE Station 5 Pro addressed those issues quite effectively. It can operate for more than an hour and a half on a single charge, and its base station has a dustbin capacity that surpasses many standard upright vacuums I’ve tried over the years.

It's lightweight, does not require holding a trigger, and returns to a base that charges, empties, and stores it automatically. Beyond reliable battery life and dustbin capacity, this model also excels in automating much of the cleaning process with smart floor-type detection that adjusts suction power accordingly. Additionally, it features a wide-angle dust-detection headlight, built-in HEPA filtration, and onboard storage for accessories. Overall, it is a well-considered and beneficial addition to home cleaning tasks.

**Physical setup couldn’t be much easier**

The Station 5 Pro comes with several components, including the vacuum, floorhead, clean station, and attachments, but assembly was straightforward enough that I didn’t need to consult the instructions. Everything fit together intuitively, and I had it ready to use in minutes without confusion about how the different parts connected. The physical setup was among the easiest I’ve encountered with a vacuum system of this size.

**It handled whatever my family left behind**

Cordless vacuums don’t have an easy job in my home since my floors seldom stay clean for long. With a mix of hard flooring, an area rug, and carpet, I had numerous surfaces to test the Station 5 Pro on. It consistently picked up everyday messes such as crumbs, pet hair, tracked-in dirt, and the usual debris associated with young children and dogs without needing multiple passes.

Edge cleaning was particularly impressive. The transition from my hard floors to carpeted stairs usually presents challenges, but the Station 5 Pro got noticeably closer to the edge compared to most models I’ve used. The wide-angle LED headlight proved to be more helpful than anticipated because it illuminates debris that blends in with the floor, making it easier to see what still needs cleaning.

Its lightweight design makes transitioning between rooms and surfaces effortless, and the absence of a trigger to hold during use is a minor but significant comfort enhancement. It’s a feature you don’t appreciate until you return to a vacuum that requires it.

**A self-emptying station that earns its space**

The clean station is one of the most convenient aspects of the Pure ONE Station 5 Pro. When the vacuum is docked, it automatically transfers debris into the base without any additional effort. The emptying process does create some noise, but it’s not overwhelming. I’ve encountered self-emptying vacuums that were so loud they became irritating to use.

In comparison, the Tineco Pure ONE Station 5 Pro offers a much more tolerable experience. Since the station is bagless, there are no replacement bags to purchase, store, or keep track of. When the base eventually needs emptying, the dustbin can be easily emptied into the trash.

I also value the built-in attachment storage, as vacuum accessories can be easily lost when not designated a specific place. Keeping everything with the station makes the attachments much more practical to use when needed.

**Plenty of battery, but not enough information**

Tineco claims the Pure ONE Station 5 Pro can last up to 100 minutes of runtime, which is suitable for most homes. I never felt at risk of running out of power while cleaning. My only complaint is the absence of a precise remaining runtime indicator.
