Standard Pixel 11 may feature new camera and chipset
The standard Pixel 11 is expected to maintain a 6.3-inch 120Hz OLED display, potentially receiving an upgrade to a new panel. An ET News report from April 2026 indicates that this model and others in the series could utilize Samsung’s M16 OLED panel, making it the first to do so before a Galaxy smartphone.
This enhancement could yield a brighter and more color-accurate display. Additionally, the M16 OLED panel is more energy-efficient compared to the M14 OLED found in the Pixel 10 and iPhone 17.
With this, the Pixel 11 may be powered by the new Tensor G6, Google’s inaugural chip made using 2nm fabrication technology (likely sourced from TSMC, although Samsung could also be involved). Reports indicate it may feature a seven-core design as opposed to eight, with a 1+4+2 configuration and a peak frequency of 4.11 GHz, along with up to 12GB of RAM.
It is possible that the Pixel 11 will not offer a 128GB storage option, as Google might replace it with 256GB as the base option, which would also increase the entry-level price. Discussing pricing, the Pixel 11 is projected to launch at $899, $100 higher than its predecessor, the Pixel 10.
Rumor has it that Google might transition to a PowerVR-based GPU, which may not bring substantial changes in performance. However, the device is expected to launch with a more powerful TPU. There’s also an anticipated shift from Samsung’s Exynos modem to MediaTek’s M90 modem for better efficiency and thermal management.
