AI Studio web applications can now use customized subdomains
Google AI Studio has simplified the process of building a web app remarkably. Users can articulate their requirements, enhance the design via prompts, and publish the outcome without needing to establish a conventional development setup. However, a noticeable inconvenience arises post-deployment, as the completed app remains linked to a lengthy, easily forgotten Cloud Run URL.
Google is now addressing this final hurdle. AI Studio allows you to assign a personalized address under the “ai.studio” domain to a deployed web app, such as “your-app-name.ai.studio.” A more recognizable URL can enhance the project's presentation in a portfolio, client demonstration, social media post, or internal project documentation.
Your web app finally receives a suitable name
This new feature is located within the publishing menu. You can either enter your desired subdomain or go with the suggestion provided by Google prior to deploying the app.
Names need to be unique within AI Studio, so popular ones may be taken quickly. Google operates on a first-come, first-served basis. If your chosen address is already in use, you will have to select another.
You can later change the URL, but moving an existing name to a different project necessitates unpublishing or deleting the app that currently uses it. Doing so frees up the address, meaning it could be claimed by someone else before you can reuse it.

AI Studio is now more capable in the app-building process
Over the past few months, Google has been enhancing AI Studio's capabilities. Besides creating full-stack and native Android apps, it can connect projects to Workspace services, establish Firebase databases and authentication, generate custom visual assets, and allow users to request design alterations by drawing directly on the app preview.
Projects can also be uploaded to GitHub, downloaded as ZIP files, or migrated to Google Antigravity for further enhancements. The introduction of personalized URLs adds the finishing touch, facilitating the presentation of completed apps once they exit AI Studio.
Meta's detection tool fails to recognize images created by its own Muse Image AI
Meta has developed an invisible watermarking tool called Content Seal, which is integrated into all images produced by the Muse Image AI.
Recently, Meta unveiled two new AI products: Muse Image and Muse Video. As indicated by their names, these are generative AI tools designed for creating photos and video clips from natural language prompts. Following their introduction, these tools faced criticism due to Meta automatically opting in Instagram users, permitting others to utilize their publicly shared media and transform it into remixed AI content. However, it seems Meta encountered another setback.

You can now verify if a Google ad was generated using AI
Google will automatically label its own AI-generated ads, but third-party AI ads will still rely on advertisers for transparency.
Have you ever looked at an ad and wondered whether it was made by a real person or generated by AI? Google is now providing a way to check.
The company recently announced a new AI transparency label that indicates whether an ad was created or modified with generative AI tools. This label will be integrated into Google's My Ad Center and will be rolled out globally across Google Search, YouTube, and Discover.
