GIGABYTE delights gamers with a new WOLED monitor.

The company GIGABYTE, which usually keeps hardware enthusiasts entertained, has announced the launch of its new gaming monitor GO27Q24G. This 27-inch beauty is frameless and aims to fulfill all the needs of a modern esports player.

The QHD resolution and 240 Hz refresh rate sound like music to the eyes, and the support for G-SYNC and FreeSync Premium promises to eliminate screen tearing and micro-stuttering. In general, enemies won't get through, and the image won't fall apart.

       Jet black color

At the core of the device is a WOLED panel from LG Display, which engineers have enhanced with MLA+ technology and a RealBlack Glossy finish. Let's immediately dismiss stereotypes about gloss. Here, it is designed to combat reflections, so you see the enemy sniper instead of your own pensive face. Brightness is also top-notch: typical 275 nits and peak 1300 nits in HDR — enough to avoid squinting even on a sunny day (or in the epicenter of an explosion). The VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and 99% DCI-P3 coverage ensure that black will be truly black, not dark gray, and dark scenes in horror games will no longer be just a "black square."

       Tactics and tricks

The monitor wouldn't be a GIGABYTE creation without its signature tactical features. The developers clearly played shooters and MOBAs when they came up with "Tactical Switch 2.0." This feature allows you to change the resolution and aspect ratio with a single motion, adapting to a specific map. There's also "Ultra Clear," which combats blurriness so diligently that enemies won't have time to hide around the corner, and "Black Equalizer," which highlights details in dark corners. If you love to sit in ambush or, conversely, clear corners, these features will be your best friends. And, of course, the HyperNits technology, which smartly increases HDR brightness without losing detail in bright areas. You can choose the intensity of High or Medium, depending on how brightly the lamp above your desk shines.

       No burn-in and discomfort

The manufacturer has also taken care of the panel's longevity. The AI OLED Care system uses artificial intelligence to prevent the screen from "getting tired" and burning out over time. For those who spend days on end in front of the monitor, there is UL eye protection and the OLED VRR Anti-Flicker feature, which tames flickering at variable refresh rates. In short, the GIGABYTE GO27Q24G looks like a worthy candidate for the role of the main screen for those who do not wish to choose between speed, vibrant visuals, and health care.
