The Pixel Watch 5 from Google might not avoid the price increases set for 2026.
Some models of the Pixel Watch 5 may retain last year's pricing, while others will see an increase.
Google has officially announced its next Made by Google event for August 12, where it will reveal the Pixel 11 series smartphones. Although it has not been confirmed whether a new generation of wearables will be introduced this year, a recent price leak from Dealabs indicates that the Pixel Watch 5 may also be unveiled during this event, potentially with a price increase similar to that of the Pixel smartphones.
According to Dealabs, Google is expected to maintain the same basic lineup for the Pixel Watch 5 as last year. The watch is anticipated to be available in sizes of 41mm and 45mm, with options for both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, as well as 4G LTE models.
Some models are set to be more expensive
In comparison to the launch prices of the Pixel Watch 4, the Pixel Watch 5 is reportedly facing a targeted price increase. The 41mm Bluetooth/Wi-Fi model is said to increase from €399 to €419, while the 41mm LTE model is expected to rise from €499 to €519. Both variants will see a €20 hike in Europe.
Digital Trends reports that the larger 45mm models appear unchanged in Europe and the U.K. The Bluetooth/Wi-Fi version is still priced at €449 and £399, while the LTE version remains at €549 and £499. However, pricing in the U.S. differs, with both 45mm models reportedly increasing by $30, going from $399 to $429 and from $499 to $529. All the leaked prices in euros, British pounds, and U.S. dollars can be found in the table below.
Model Price (USD/EUR/GBP)
Pixel Watch 5 41mm (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi) $399 / €419 / £369
Pixel Watch 5 41mm (4G LTE) $499 / €519 / £469
Pixel Watch 5 45mm (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi) $429 / €449 / £399
Pixel Watch 5 45mm (4G LTE) $529 / €549 / £499
A new Pyrite color option is on the way
The Pixel Watch 5 is also expected to feature a new color called Pyrite. Dealabs indicates that the 41mm version will be offered in Pyrite, Silver, Anthracite, and Gold, while the 45mm variant will be available in Pyrite, Silver, and Anthracite, omitting Gold. Preorders for the Pixel Watch 5 are anticipated to begin on August 12 after its unveiling, with market availability expected on August 20.
Google
The remaining question is whether the Pixel Watch 5 will offer enough new features to warrant an upgrade. It is expected to ship with Wear OS 7, which will enhance battery life, provide Live Updates, improve workout tracking through Fitness Contextualization, and include Gemini Intelligence features like Custom Widget Generation and Advanced Task Automation. Some of these features are currently being rolled out to the Pixel Watch 4 with the latest update; however, it remains unclear if Google will reserve some of the more advanced on-device AI capabilities for the newer models.

Still looking for a more affordable Vision Pro? New report offers disappointing news
Another setback has occurred for those anticipating a lower-cost Vision Pro.
After a whirlwind of rumors and reports, the notion of a more affordable Vision Pro may be extinguished. Recent months have brought delays, a rumored cancellation, and even the possibility of a revival. However, a new report from the supply chain suggests it may finally be time to give up hope.
Apple has reportedly halted development of a budget-friendly display intended for a lighter, more cost-effective Vision headset. Samsung Display plans to formally conclude the project in September, as per the Korean outlet The Elec. Although Apple has not publicly announced the cancellation of the headset, the cessation of its dedicated display makes a future launch increasingly unlikely.
Rollme's new AirCam places a camera in your headphones for under $80
Why invest in smart glasses when your headphones can already capture the world for you?
Embedding a camera in headphones is increasingly becoming a viable product category rather than just a novelty. Razer showcased Project Motoko at CES 2026, VibeLens introduced its MusicCam via Kickstarter last year, and even Apple is said to be looking into camera-equipped AirPods. Rollme has now entered the market as well, with its AirCam potentially being the most budget-friendly option available.
