Google's Pixel Watch 5 might not be immune to the price increases expected in 2026.
Some Pixel Watch 5 models might retain last year’s pricing, while others could see an increase.
Google has officially announced its next Made by Google event for August 12, where it will unveil the Pixel 11 series smartphones. Although it has not been confirmed whether a new generation of wearables will be released this year, a recent price leak from Dealabs indicates that the Pixel Watch 5 may also be revealed during the event, potentially accompanied by a price increase similar to that of the Pixel smartphones.
As per Dealabs, Google is maintaining the basic Pixel Watch 5 lineup from last year. The watch is expected to be available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, in both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi variants, as well as 4G LTE models.
Some models are seeing a price increase.
When compared to the launch prices of the Pixel Watch 4, the Pixel Watch 5 seems to be experiencing a targeted price rise. The 41mm Bluetooth/Wi-Fi model is said to increase from €399 to €419, while the 41mm LTE version will go from €499 to €519. Both models will have a €20 increase in Europe.
The larger 45mm models appear to be unchanged in Europe and the U.K. The Bluetooth/Wi-Fi version continues to be priced at €449 and £399, while the LTE model remains at €549 and £499. However, pricing in the U.S. is different, with both 45mm models reportedly facing a $30 hike, changing from $399 to $429 and from $499 to $529. The leaked prices in euros, pounds sterling, and U.S. dollars are summarized in the table below.
Model Price (USD/EUR/GBP)
Pixel Watch 5 41mm (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi) $399 / €419 / £369
Pixel Watch 5 41mm (4G LTE) $499 / €519 / £469
Pixel Watch 5 45mm (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi) $429 / €449 / £399
Pixel Watch 5 45mm (4G LTE) $529 / €549 / £499
A new Pyrite color is on the way.
The Pixel Watch 5 is expected to feature a new color option called Pyrite. Dealabs notes that the 41mm version will come in Pyrite, Silver, Anthracite, and Gold, while the 45mm version will exclude Gold and stick to Pyrite, Silver, and Anthracite. Preorders for the Pixel Watch 5 are anticipated to begin on August 12 following the announcement, with market availability likely starting on August 20.
The only lingering question is whether the Pixel Watch 5 will offer enough new features to warrant an upgrade. It is expected to ship with Wear OS 7, which will enhance battery life, offer Live Updates, and improve workout tracking through Fitness Contextualization, along with Gemini Intelligence features such as Custom Widget Generation and Advanced Task Automation. Some of these features are already being rolled out to the Pixel Watch 4 with the latest update, but it remains to be seen if Google will keep some advanced on-device AI functionalities exclusive to newer models.

Another setback has emerged regarding the more affordable Vision Pro.
After circulating rumors and reports, the hope for a cheaper Vision Pro appears to be diminishing. There have been delays, alleged cancellations, and even possible revivals in recent months. However, a new supply chain report suggests it may finally be time to abandon hope.
Apple has reportedly halted development on a lower-cost display intended for a lighter, more affordable Vision headset. Samsung Display is expected to officially end the project in September, as reported by Korean outlet The Elec. Although Apple has not made any public announcements regarding the cancellation of the headset, the absence of a dedicated display makes a future launch seem increasingly unlikely.
Rollme’s new AirCam integrates a camera into headphones for under $80.
Who needs smart glasses when your headphones can already perceive the world for you?
Incorporating a camera into headphones is becoming less of a novelty and more of a legitimate product category. Razer showcased Project Motoko at CES 2026, VibeLens launched its MusicCam on Kickstarter last year, and now Apple is reportedly looking into camera-equipped AirPods. Rollme has also entered the market, and its AirCam might be the most budget-friendly option available.
What features does the AirCam offer?
