A new "summer" device has appeared in the "Technopark" store chain - the QYRON SM601 granita machine for making slush, chilled drinks, soft ice cream, and desserts at home.

The model is aimed at users who want to achieve results close to professional frozen drink machines, but in the format of a kitchen appliance designed for home placement, regular use, and easy maintenance.

The QYRON SM601 belongs to a relatively rare category of appliances for the home segment. While classic blenders, ice cream makers, and coffee machines have long been familiar devices in the kitchen, granita machines have until recently mostly been associated with cafes, bars, and food service points. The QYRON novelty brings this scenario into the home environment: the machine not only crushes ice or cools the prepared mixture but also uses its own cooling and mixing system, forming the characteristic homogeneous texture of slush, frappe, milkshakes, and soft ice cream.

At the core of the device's operation is a metal evaporator cylinder and a spiral mechanism that evenly mixes the contents of the container. This scheme is important specifically for drinks and desserts with a semi-frozen structure: the mixture must be cooled gradually and evenly, without forming large ice fragments and without stratification. The rotation of the spiral helps maintain a stable consistency, while the evaporator provides the necessary temperature reduction. The efficiency of cooling is ensured by a system with a copper heat exchanger, chosen for its high thermal conductivity. The specifications indicate a nominal power of 220 W, power supply from the mains 220–240 V, frequency 50–60 Hz, refrigerant R290 in an amount of 26 g, and climate type SN/N/ST/T.

For the user, a key advantage of the QYRON SM601 is the set of automatic programs. A total of seven preparation modes are provided: soft ice cream, slush, alcoholic slush, milkshake, frappe, chilled juice, and cold drinks. The presence of separate scenarios allows users not to manually adjust parameters for each recipe but to focus on the desired density and texture of the product. A separate ice cream mode is highlighted, designed for a denser consistency that can hold its shape after serving. At the same time, the device is not limited to dessert scenarios: it can be used for lemonades, fruit mixtures, cold coffee drinks, and other recipes where stable temperature and uniform structure are important.

The container volume is 2.5 liters. For household appliances, this is a sufficiently spacious indicator: this volume is enough not only for individual use but also for preparing drinks or desserts for a family or a small group. At the same time, the machine remains compact. The dimensions of the model are approximately 433×160×420 mm, and the description also indicates a body format of 160×435×425 mm; a width of 160 mm allows the device to be placed on the countertop even in conditions of limited kitchen space. The weight is 10.5 kg, which is typical for appliances with a full refrigeration circuit and a sturdy body.

Control is implemented using physical buttons. This approach looks pragmatic: mechanical elements are more convenient to use with wet hands, they provide clear feedback, and allow for more precise control of the process. The panel features program designations and adjustment elements, while only the pause and off functions remain active during operation. This reduces the risk of accidental changes to settings during preparation. Additionally, a delayed start timer is provided, allowing users to set a launch time in advance - a useful feature for scenarios when a drink or dessert needs to be ready at a specific moment.

The engineering part of the model is complemented by a number of design solutions that affect ease of use. The container has a thoughtful geometry, which ensures that the mixture is evenly distributed inside and sticks less to the upper part. The container itself can be removed without complex locks and rotating mechanisms, simplifying preparation for washing. The increased space around the evaporator cylinder facilitates cleaning of the working area after preparation, and removable elements can be washed in a dishwasher. There is also a self-cleaning mode: in this mode, the system continues to rotate without cooling, helping to remove large residues of drinks and desserts before a full wash.

A dispenser with a return spring is used for serving the finished product. The user presses the handle to dispense, and upon releasing, the flow automatically stops. This solution reduces the likelihood of spills and allows for more precise dosing of the drink or dessert into a glass, coupe, or cone. The noise level is stated to be below 60 dB, which is important for a household kitchen: the device is designed to operate not only in short impulse mode but also during the cooling and texture-forming period.
