GTA 6 marketing is gaining momentum as the November launch approaches
Rockstar Games has disclosed when players can grab their copy of Grand Theft Auto 6. In a post on X, the studio announced that GTA 6 pre-orders will start on June 25, marking the first official confirmation of a date after months filled with speculation and retailer leaks.
This announcement comes a little over four months before the game is set to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. So far, two trailers have been released, offering a sneak peek at the main characters Jason and Lucia alongside a contemporary Vice City backdrop.
The pre-order news has relieved many GTA 6 fans, as seen from the online reactions. After Rockstar postponed the game from a planned 2025 release to November 2026, there were concerns among players about potential further delays despite ongoing reassurances from Take-Two. The commencement of pre-orders less than five months prior to launch is a reassuring indicator that Rockstar is confident about its schedule and that GTA 6 remains set for November 2026.
