Amazfit has introduced the Balance Ultra, a new flagship smartwatch designed for users who closely monitor their workouts but may not focus equally on recovery.
Recovery is crucial in training, as inadequate sleep, elevated stress levels, and poorly timed rest days can significantly impact progress. The new smartwatch seeks to simplify tracking recovery by integrating workout data with sleep, stress, heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen levels, breathing, and recovery metrics via the Zepp App.

The Balance Ultra is centered around Amazfit’s Hybrid Training System, which aims to provide users with a clearer understanding of their body’s readiness for another workout. BioCharge helps users gauge their energy levels throughout the day, while LifeLoad considers the strain from stress and daily activities. Training Balance and Weekly Focus assist in contextualizing recent workouts, so users don’t just see isolated sleep, stress, and fitness statistics without understanding their combined significance.
The watch also includes official HYROX tools, such as training plans, race simulations, virtual pace assistance, and post-race analysis. This makes it particularly relevant for users who participate in a combination of running, strength training, endurance activities, and gym-based competition formats.

The hardware is notably more premium compared to Amazfit’s standard fitness watches. The Balance Ultra features a Grade 5 titanium case, sapphire glass protection, 10ATM water resistance, and a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a brightness of up to 3,000 nits. It also includes dual-band GPS, six-satellite positioning, offline maps, route guidance, Bluetooth calling, Zepp Flow voice control, voice notes, music storage, apps, and contactless payments.
