The Razr Fold marks Motorola's debut in the book-style foldable category. Priced at $1,899.99, it signifies that Samsung no longer exclusively dominates the premium Android foldable market.
After teasing the device at CES 2026 in January and officially unveiling it during MWC in March, Motorola has launched the Razr Fold on April 29, 2026. It directly competes with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Pre-orders for the Motorola Razr Fold will begin on May 14, 2026, through the company's official website and Best Buy, with sales starting on May 21, 2026, as previously rumored. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, the foldable is equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of storage. Like other Motorola smartphones, it comes with a stock version of Android 16, delivering a smooth, familiar interface for users.
