At CES 2026, a new brand called Gyges Labs is revealing a different approach to smart rings by essentially converting them into an AI-enhanced note-taking tool.

Gyges Labs’ Vocci smart ring reimagines this concept for your finger. This ring utilizes hand gestures and features a physical button to initiate recordings.
With just one click, the Vocci smart ring begins summarizing key points from a conversation. A double-tap gesture activates the full voice recording mode. The accompanying software can identify and accurately attribute speakers in the AI-generated transcription.
Additionally, the software generates what the company describes as smart AI summaries. The ring is crafted from hypoallergenic metal and is water-resistant, ensuring recordings remain private through encryption. The main idea is that instead of jotting down notes or manually using an app, you can simply tap the ring to complete the task.

After the audio is recorded, the linked mobile app converts the transcriptions into actionable insights, allowing users to quickly revisit main points from their discussions. The app also includes a tagging feature for easy searching and the option to organize information into folders.
The recording system employs software-based noise isolation technology. The Vocci smart ring supports transcription in over 112 languages. It can operate for up to 8 hours on a single charge, with the charging case providing enough power for three additional recharges. Currently, there is no pricing information for the Vocci smart ring, but it is expected to be announced soon.
