      American Manhunt: Osama bin Ladin is a documentary series documenting the search for Osama bin Ladin following the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Although he was known prior to 9/11, bin Ladin became the primary focus of U.S. intelligence after the attacks, and it took nearly a decade to locate him.

      This miniseries consists of three episodes totaling three hours and traces the pursuit from the immediate aftermath of the attacks up until 2011, when he was killed during a SEAL team operation.

      The reviews for this miniseries are comparable to those of other docuseries under the American Manhunt brand. The Trial of O.J. Simpson also received a perfect critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, while The Boston Marathon Bombing scored 89%. Although these docuseries have gained significant popularity on the platform, they are not always reviewed by every major television critic, indicating a possible element of self-selection.

      Nonetheless, this narrative holds significant interest for Netflix viewers and is rapidly becoming a part of American history. Nearly 25 years have passed since 9/11, yet the repercussions of those events still resonate throughout American society today.
