Apple
If you’ve ever wanted to dine at the finest restaurants in your area, Apple Maps has created the perfect system for you. Additionally, if you’re inclined to burn some calories playing golf, the service can assist you with that as well.
Apple has partnered with the MICHELIN Guide and The Infatuation, allowing users to discover and gain insights about Michelin-starred restaurants on its mapping and navigation platform. “Users can now search and view MICHELIN-starred, Green Star, and Bib Gourmand restaurants—including MICHELIN Key hotels—beginning in the U.S.,” the company stated.
Why is this important?
For those unfamiliar, a Michelin star is a rating system given to restaurants and chefs in recognition of their culinary excellence. A similar rating exists for hotels that offer top-tier hospitality experiences. While these establishments are often on the pricier side, there are also Michelin-star restaurants that provide affordable dining options for the general public.
Thanks to this collaboration, when you search for a Michelin-rated restaurant, the detail page will display cards with its ratings, images, and food recommendations from professional gourmands and connoisseurs. After all, if you're going to indulge in a luxurious experience, it’s good to hear the expert opinions beforehand.
To make the most of the new features, users can apply the relevant filter in Apple Maps to find a venue that matches their tastes. If they want to explore what a Michelin-starred restaurant has to offer, they can access all the information in the accompanying curated guides.
What other features are available?
For certain establishments, users will even have the option to make reservations directly through Apple Maps. In the coming months, Apple Maps will also incorporate personalized content from The Infatuation and Golf Digest, alongside more expert-curated material.
If you're searching for hotels on Apple Maps, a new filter labeled “Michelin Distinctions” will now be available. When you select any of the options visible on the map, you’ll see a summary, a brief highlight, and crucially, the number of Michelin stars awarded to the restaurant.
Just like dining establishments, Apple Maps users will also be able to book tee times directly, thanks to a partnership with Supreme Golf. Currently, these new features in Apple Maps are limited to the U.S., and there is no information regarding a global rollout at this time.

Does the Apple iPad Pro (2022) support wireless charging? Here’s what you should know
The Apple iPad Pro (2022) was introduced with little fanfare, and if you're considering it as your next powerful tablet, you’re probably wondering whether it features wireless charging before spending your hard-earned money. Wireless charging is an uncommon feature in tablets, so here’s the good and bad news regarding Apple’s latest iPad Pro.
The bad news
To begin with the negatives: the Apple iPad Pro (2022) does not come equipped with wireless charging. There were speculations that the next iPad Pro would include wireless charging and MagSafe capabilities, but this did not materialize. However, considering that most tablets on the market also lack wireless charging, you’re not really missing out.
Is it a major issue?
Here’s the good news: since most people have not owned a tablet without wireless charging, you likely won’t miss it. The new Apple iPad Pro (2022) features a 28.65-watt-hour battery in the 11-inch version and a 40.88-watt-hour battery in the 12.9-inch version, both of which are substantial battery capacities.
Apple Watch Ultra now features a luxurious design — if you're willing to pay
Apple has gone all out on the rugged features of the Apple Watch Ultra. It’s undeniably large, boldly designed, and packed with features appealing to extreme sports fans. However, Apple has not varied much in terms of design options. Starting at a hefty price of $899, the only color available for the case is a matte titanium finish. That said, adding a touch of luxury isn’t entirely off the table.
