There are numerous speculations regarding Apple's upcoming iPhone models, with the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro anticipated to be unveiled later this year, likely in September. A very slim iPhone – commonly referred to as the iPhone 17 Air in many rumors – is also highly expected this year, aimed to compete with the new Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. However, next year may bring an even more thrilling iPhone launch.

There have been ongoing speculations suggesting that 2026 could be the year Apple finally enters the folding phone market, with its device going head-to-head with models like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, or the expected Galaxy Z Fold 7 when Apple's model is released. Multiple reports have already hinted at possible features of the iPhone Fold, with the latest focusing on the aspect ratios of the main and cover displays, along with the design of the front camera.

What insights does the most recent report provide about the iPhone Fold?

According to leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo, as picked up by MacRumors, the internal display on the iPhone Fold will feature a 14.1:1 ratio and include an under-screen camera similar to that of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The external display is rumored to have a 14.6:1 aspect ratio with a hole-punch camera. If accurate, this would mark Apple's first adoption of the smaller hole-punch design, which has been prevalent in Android devices for years. The report also mentioned the inclusion of Touch ID integrated into the power button.

Digital Chat Station stated that this information originates from a new engineering prototype from Apple. While there are no confirmations for these claims, this leaker has provided reliable information in the past, and the details align with prior reports from another leaker, Korean news aggregator yeux1122, who mentioned in April that Apple would likely use a hole-punch front camera.

This leaker further claimed that the design would closely resemble that of the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, while other speculation has suggested the internal display could measure 7.8-inches and be crease-free, with the external display being 5.5-inches.

Currently, nothing is confirmed, and it appears we will still have to wait another 18 months before the final design and specifications of the iPhone Fold are disclosed. Nonetheless, it's always intriguing to catch a glimpse of what might be on the horizon, even if changes may occur.

Google Maps has introduced a screenshot tool that simplifies travel planning on your iPhone.

Recently, Google unveiled several new features aimed at enhancing digital travel planning, such as hotel price tracking and using AI as a personal guide. One noteworthy feature allows users to extract address details from screenshots and save them to Google Maps. This functionality has begun to roll out gradually, with users reporting its availability this week; earlier today, Google shared a blog post explaining how to enable it. Currently, this feature is focused on iOS, but it will soon be available on Android as well.

There might not be an iPhone in 10 years, suggests a top Apple executive.

Surprisingly, a senior Apple executive has proposed that in ten years, the iPhone – cherished by many (that is, unless you're devoted to an Android device) – may no longer be around. Before you panic at the thought of Apple abandoning the iPhone in a decade, there's also the possibility that by 2035, an iPhone 27 or whatever name Apple will choose by then, could exist.

iPhone 17 Air: everything you need to know.

The iPhone 17 Air is poised to be the lightest iPhone ever – as light as a feather, or as its name implies, light as air. This isn't due to a size comparable to the earliest iPhone models, but rather because it is as thin as the MacBook Air that inspired it, making it thinner than the rest of the iPhone 17 lineup. Although the official announcement for the iPhone 17 Air is still months away, alongside the standard iPhone 17, the leaks and rumors surrounding this ultra-slim model have generated excitement among iPhone users who are eager to hold it while simultaneously concerned about its potential fragility due to its slim design. Here’s everything you need to know about the iPhone 17 Air.
