The first trailer for Ironheart introduces Riri Williams, Marvel's next prodigy, who aims to create something legendary.
Having made her debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, MIT student Riri (Dominique Thorne) returns to Chicago with ambitions to construct an armor suit akin to the one worn by Tony Stark. Her journey leads her to Parker Robbins (Anthony Ramos), also known as The Hood, a mysterious character who presents Riri with an opportunity to fulfill her dream.
Yet, Robbins is prepared to operate outside the law and engage in some “questionable activities” to achieve the objective. Riri’s family cautions her about Robbins’ motives, worried that it might lead her down a perilous path. Ultimately, the choice of how to reach greatness rests on Riri’s shoulders.
The cast of Ironheart includes Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White.

Chinaka Hodge serves as the creator and head writer for Ironheart, with executive producers including Zoie Nagelhout and Ryan Coogler from Black Panther. The series merges magical and scientific elements, resulting in a “wild combination.”
“Riri definitely interacts with a street-level show like Daredevil,” Coogler shared with Marvel.com. “You've got characters — both heroes and villains — making the best of their circumstances. Then you blend that with cosmic Marvel, characters who would fit well in Doctor Strange or WandaVision. That combination of street-level Marvel with magical Marvel is quite a radical mix.”
Ironheart will wrap up Phase Five of the MCU, with The Fantastic Four: First Steps launching Phase Six in July.
The series will feature six episodes available on Disney+. The first three episodes are set to premiere on June 24 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
