While specific details remain scarce, the leaker asserts it is “basically certain” that this new graphics card will feature 24GB of VRAM, providing an 8GB increase over the RTX 5080. Such memory capacity would also align the GPU with the RTX 4090.

      Upon the RTX 5080's release, many anticipated it would replace the previous-generation RTX 4090. Unfortunately, it didn't reach that level of performance, and even overclocking can't bring it on par with the Ada flagship. However, depending on the specifications of the rumored RTX 5080 Super, we might see a closer competition between the two models.
