The latest No Man's Sky Relics update allows players to excavate for bones.
Hello Games
Prepare your fedora-shaped space suit helmets, as No Man's Sky is introducing archaeology with the Relics update launched today. This update allows players to delve into the past of their planets and uncover the fossilized remains of ancient creatures.
Tim Woodley from Hello Games stated, “We wanted players to feel like authentic paleontologists. When new bones are found, Travellers can assemble them according to their own designs. They can even craft their own museums or share their collections with others.” Woodley assures a “truly huge variety” of procedurally-generated bones to discover, excavate, and collect, creating an experience akin to a game within a game.
Players aiming to complete their collections but struggling to find specific bones can negotiate with a paleontological expert at the Space Station. However, the adventure isn’t without risk; unearthing long-hidden secrets can be perilous, and not just in an Indiana Jones fashion.
As Woodley notes, “Some things have been buried for a reason.” While searching for fossils, players might confront living threats such as Stone Ghosts and the Stone Golem, both of which are formidable adversaries defending their secrets.
The Titan Worm makes a significant appearance as well. This creature has been part of the game since the Expeditions update, allowing players to collect eggs, rope, and other materials from it — but now you can assemble its bones to create a chilling display in your base. This serves as a warning to anyone who underestimates you.
The Hello Games team compares the Relics update to last year's more focused “fishing” update. This update is more specific and goal-oriented, rather than implementing sweeping changes to gameplay. While Relics will bring in a few new elements, it is primarily for entertainment and not necessarily something that requires starting a new playthrough.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 allows its villains to evolve in ways that comics cannot. Like the best Spider-Man tales, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 leaves a significant impact on its characters. In comics, pivotal events such as Gwen Stacy’s death, Peter's corruption by the symbiote, his marriage to Mary Jane, and the revelation of his identity during Civil War transformed both the hero and the readers, creating character-driven moments that seemed permanent. However, not all these events retained their weight. To preserve brand identity and accommodate a constantly changing roster of writers, Marvel Comics often reverts Spider-Man to a familiar status quo after major shifts.
Most notably, One More Day erased Peter Parker and Mary Jane’s marriage and reverted the revelation of Spider-Man’s identity after Civil War. While there are many excellent Spider-Man stories currently being published, narratives with a sense of permanence are scarce unless they occur in alternate universes, like the acclaimed Spider-Man: Life Story.

There are countless collectibles and activities available in Spider-Man 2. From photo opportunities to Prowler Stashes, the map is filled with icons indicating where to find everything. However, there is one special collectible for Miles Morales that is not marked on your map. This collectible is not required for any specific quest and does not provide any XP, but it does award you the Just Let Go trophy, which is essential for obtaining the sought-after Platinum trophy. Without any clues as to the location of this tiny science trophy on the expansive New York map, you could spend hours searching. Instead, we'll guide you directly to the location so you can check this trophy off your list.
How to earn the Just Let Go trophy
The science trophy we seek is located in the southern area of the Financial District on top of a church. The exact location is indicated above, but the church itself is obvious once you enter the vicinity. Upon reaching the church, climb onto the roof behind the main steeple and look up at the small balcony encircling it. If you get close enough, you will see a small white circle indicating that there is something interactive nearby.
