Samsung HW-Q990F
Digital Trends
Best Buy has reduced the price of the Samsung HW-Q990F to $999.99 from $1,999.99. If I were setting up a serious home theater, this would be my top choice. This 11.1.4-channel system includes a wireless subwoofer and rear speakers, providing a complete setup rather than requiring separate components later. A 50% discount makes the typical flagship price much more palatable.
Sonos Arc Ultra
Digital Trends
The Sonos Arc Ultra is available for $899 at Best Buy, which represents a $200 discount. Although it's still a considerable expense for a soundbar, our review of the Arc Ultra emphasized its improved bass, clearer dialogue, and enhanced spatial audio experience compared to the original Arc. I would consider this option for high-quality TV audio without needing extra speakers throughout the room.
Sonos Era 300
Digital Trends
If you prefer music over movies, the Sonos Era 300 is currently priced at $379 at Best Buy, down from $479. Its primary feature is spatial audio, which was particularly noteworthy in our review of the Era 300. Additionally, Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 make it more user-friendly compared to older Sonos models, especially if you’re not fully committed to the Sonos ecosystem.
JBL PartyBox Stage 320
Digital Trends
Best Buy has the JBL PartyBox Stage 320 for $549.95, an $80 decrease from its usual price of $629.95. This is the unique option among the deals. The PartyBox Stage 320 impressed with its loud and clear output, and features like a removable battery, wheels, lights, and karaoke capabilities make it an excellent choice for social gatherings.
TCL S55H
Digital Trends
You don’t need to spend a lot to significantly enhance your TV’s audio. The TCL S55H is $119.99 at Best Buy, saving you $40, and comes with a wireless subwoofer and Dolby Atmos support. While it won't match the sound quality of the top-tier Samsung system, it’s a cost-effective and easy upgrade if you’re still reliant on your TV’s built-in speakers.
Amazon Fire TV Soundbar Plus
Digital Trends
Amazon has reduced the Fire TV Soundbar Plus by $100, bringing the price down to $149.99. Its 3.1-channel setup features a built-in subwoofer and a dedicated center channel, which is beneficial for preventing dialogue from being muffled in what you're watching. Our review noted that the setup process is pleasantly straightforward, although the surround sound experience is somewhat limited despite its Dolby Atmos certification.
