      Created, written, and directed by Mackenzie Crook, “Small Prophets” is a comedy-drama infused with fantasy and magical elements. The series centers on Michael Sleep, portrayed by Pearce Quigley, who investigates alchemical science and the concept of the mythical homunculus to uncover the mysteries surrounding the disappearance of their partner.
