Once again, streaming services are raising their prices, and this time it’s ESPN's turn to impact your budget.
Beginning September 17, both ESPN Select and ESPN Unlimited will have higher prices (according to ESPN support). This will also affect multiple Disney+ and Hulu bundles, representing the first increase since the standalone ESPN app was launched last August.

Why is ESPN increasing prices at this time?
The upcoming price adjustment, effective September 2026, marks the first increase for ESPN Select and Unlimited plans since the re-launch of the network's streaming services last August. This revamp also introduced a scrollable, short-form video feed and a personalized segment of SportsCenter.
This price hike is not occurring in isolation. Just last week, Peacock raised its prices by up to $3 per month, and Apple also increased the costs of Apple Music and Apple One. If you're about to see a rise in your ESPN bill, it's wise to verify which bundle you’re currently subscribed to before September 17.
For those interested, sticking with a package based on Unlimited will avoid this issue altogether, but it does come with the trade-off of not having access to ESPN's full network lineup.
