      In its official invitation, Samsung refers to the event as the debut of “the newest addition to the Galaxy S26 family.” While it does not specifically mention the Galaxy S26 FE, it states that the device is “purposefully designed to deliver the core Galaxy S26 experiences, from camera to AI, along with the latest One UI, for those who seek what is truly important to them.”

      This is a strong hint that the device in question is the Fan Edition variant of Samsung’s flagship series, which is anticipated to provide essential flagship features from the more expensive models at a lower price point. Samsung employed a similar strategy last year, hinting at the Galaxy S25 FE without naming it prior to the official announcement.

      The invitation also mentions that the company will livestream the launch on August 27 at 9 PM KST (5 AM PT/8 AM ET) on Samsung’s website and YouTube channel.

      The teaser aligns with months of leaks

      Additionally, Samsung has released a teaser on YouTube that includes a more direct hint. It features the tagline “Welcome to Galaxy S” and showcases three drinks arranged on a pill-shaped platter, resembling the triple-camera layout that has appeared in recent Galaxy S26 FE leaks.

      This camera design has remained consistent across various leaks. Sources have indicated a pill-shaped module raised above the back panel, marking a visual change from the individually protruding lenses seen on the Galaxy S25 FE. Other leaked specifications include a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, an Exynos 2500 chipset, a 4,900mAh battery with 45W charging, and One UI 9.

      Samsung has yet to confirm pricing or a release date. However, given that leaks have revealed nearly all details about the Galaxy S26 FE, those two aspects might be the only significant updates remaining for the August 27 event.
