La nouvelle fonction d'IA d'Avec garantit que vous ne manquerez plus jamais une échéance.
Just one swipe is all it takes for Avec to remind you of your email deadlines now.
We all have experienced it—important deadlines getting lost in lengthy email threads, life getting hectic, and suddenly you're saying sorry for forgetting a follow-up. Avec, the AI-driven email application that relies on swipe gestures and voice commands, has introduced a solution to this issue, and it may be the app's smartest enhancement yet.
The brilliance of this feature lies in due date detection: simply swipe left, and Avec determines when to send you the reminder, without requiring any additional action from you. I wasn't sure we could achieve this, but it works flawlessly every time. https://t.co/gZBofxraxX— Jonathan Unikowski (@jnnnthnn) August 19, 2026
What is the 'Never Forget Anything' feature of Avec?
This feature is named Never Forget Anything, and it’s quite straightforward to use. When you come across an important email that you can't address at the moment, just swipe left on it. After that, Avec takes care of the hard work for you, analyzing the email to identify the exact due date, whether it’s a deadline, a follow-up date, or a specific day that requires your attention.
When the designated day arrives, the email is brought back to the top of your inbox, accompanied by a concise notification reminding you of its significance. There's no need to manually select dates or set reminders; a single swipe triggers the entire process, leaving the rest to Avec.
Why is this important?
Avec is an email application designed to make the email experience feel less burdensome. It allows users to manage their inbox message by message with quick swipes, much like swiping through a dating app. Additionally, users have the option to dictate replies instead of typing them out.
Founder and CEO Jonathan Unikowski described the due date detection as the true innovation behind this update. He acknowledged that the team was initially doubtful about its reliability, but now he claims the feature operates consistently every time. Given that email inboxes can become quite overwhelming, having deadlines automatically flagged makes Avec a real lifesaver.

Google is offering students a complimentary year of AI Pro and a new Gemini Student Hub.
Gemini is receiving more resources to aid students in studying, organizing, and conducting research.
Currently, Google is trailing behind OpenAI and Anthropic in the leading edge of the frontier-model competition. Anthropic’s Claude Opus 5 and OpenAI’s GPT-5.6 Sol rank higher than Gemini 3.1 Pro on significant independent evaluations, while Google’s long-anticipated Gemini 3.5 Pro is still in testing after reportedly not meeting internal performance benchmarks. As Google seeks to bridge that gap, it is also aggressively marketing Gemini to a different demographic. Eligible college students in the U.S. can now access Google AI Pro free for a full year, along with a new Student Hub specifically designed for studying, coursework, and research.

Researching intricate topics on the go just became easier for Gemini Live users.
Google is providing Gemini Live with a meaningful enhancement through the introduction of Deep Research. This feature is being rolled out today for all Gemini app users, allowing you to initiate a comprehensive research task through a voice conversation and return later to review the completed report.
Deep Research has been available in Gemini for some time. Rather than delivering a quick chatbot response, Gemini can search through multiple sources, pursue valuable leads, and compile a much more thorough report with citations. This process may take several minutes, but you don’t need to keep Gemini open while it works. Once the research is complete, you will receive a notification.
