UK viewers should prepare for 11 PM BST on the same evening, while those in continental Europe and India should set reminders for midnight CEST and 3:30 AM IST on August 13.
This year's keynote has been scheduled later than usual, but pre-orders will start before the launch. According to listings on the Google Store, pre-orders for the Pixel 11 series will open at 10 AM ET/7 AM PT on August 12, eight hours prior to the keynote.
What to expect
Beyond just the date and location, Google has officially hinted at the Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro Fold, and Pixel Watch 5, though specific details are still under wraps. Leaks have provided much of the anticipated information, giving a clearer idea of what to expect.
The Pixel 11 lineup is believed to feature four phones: the standard Pixel 11, the Pixel 11 Pro, the Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. All four are rumored to be equipped with Google’s new Tensor G6 chip, which is expected to be the company's first based on a 2nm process.
Leaks suggest a modest update for the standard Pixel 11, which might come with double the base storage at 256GB. Camera specifications are debated, with some reports indicating two rear cameras while others maintain that the telephoto lens will remain. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL seem to be receiving more significant enhancements, including a new camera sensor, improved zoom capabilities, and a camera-bar LED feature referred to as “Pixel Glow” or “HiLight.”
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is rumored to retain its 8-inch inner display while folding to 10.1mm and may introduce a telephoto lens for the first time in a Pixel foldable. Some sources suggest it might not launch at the same time as the other models and could be released a few weeks later.
A price increase is also anticipated. Google’s VP of devices and services, Shakil Barkat, has indicated that price adjustments are coming due to rising component costs, although exact amounts are not yet confirmed. Leaks suggest that increases of about $100 might be seen across the lineup.
The Pixel Watch 5 maintains its familiar round design according to Google’s own teaser, and leaked marketing materials suggest modest internal upgrades, including doubled storage at 64GB and Wear OS 7, alongside a price rise of $30 to $50 compared to the Pixel Watch 4.
Additionally, Google may unveil two new accessories at the event. Leaked retail listings highlight a first-party Pixel Tag item tracker, a pill-shaped Bluetooth device expected to be priced around $30 and compatible with Google’s Find Hub network, although UWB support for precise locating is not yet confirmed. Furthermore, a new dark green color for the Pixel Buds Pro 2 has appeared in a leaked listing, aligning with the green hues anticipated in the Pixel 11 lineup, with no hardware modifications reported.
