Pwnage's latest gaming mouse allows users to modify the click force and travel distance using a screwdriver.

      The 49-gram Pwnage Vanta is equipped with a movable sensor and boasts an 8,000Hz wireless polling rate.

      Gaming mice typically allow users to adjust sensitivity, polling rates, and button configurations through software, but Pwnage’s latest Vanta takes it further by enabling physical changes to the feel of each primary click.

      According to the company, the Vanta is the first lightweight gaming mouse in the world with mechanically adjustable clicks. By turning two screws, users can modify the force and movement required for the left and right buttons without swapping out the switches or adding new electronics.

      The adjustment screws are located beneath openings in the magnesium casing, and Pwnage includes the necessary screwdriver with the product. Tightening a screw makes the corresponding button firmer and more challenging to press, while loosening it results in a lighter and shorter click.

      Each button can be adjusted independently. For instance, a player might prefer a lighter left click for rapid firing while opting for a firmer right click for aiming, although the practical differences will depend on how the adjustable range feels during gameplay.

      Since the system relies entirely on mechanical components, changing the button settings should not impact wireless latency, battery life, or power consumption. Longer-term testing will be necessary to determine whether the mechanism retains its adjustments and remains consistent after prolonged use.

      In addition to the click feel, users can also physically modify the PAW3950 sensor module, which can be repositioned forward or backward within the chassis, changing the tracking position beneath the player’s hand. Pwnage claims this feature can help users find a setup that better suits their grip and movement style.

      The Vanta can support up to 36,000 DPI and features an 8,000Hz polling rate for both wired and 2.4GHz wireless connections. Its symmetrical magnesium body weighs between 49 and 51 grams, while its battery life is rated for up to 160 hours.

      Pwnage anticipates that the first units will begin shipping on September 28. Preorders are available through their website, starting at $159 for the black, white, and platinum versions, while the Nacho edition is priced at $169.
