      The Pixel 11 Pro XL faces the biggest setback

      The decreases in battery capacity are relatively modest, but it appears that longevity might not see significant improvements. Google lists the Pixel 10 Pro with a 4,870mAh battery and the Pixel 10 Pro XL with a 5,200mAh battery, indicating that the newer models will have a slight reduction in capacity. The small decrease of the Pixel 11 Pro is unlikely to greatly affect day-to-day battery life. In our review, the battery performance of the Pixel 10 Pro was inconsistent during initial testing, especially under heavy camera and AI usage.

      The XL downgrade is more challenging to overlook. The Pixel 10 Pro XL featured the largest battery ever included in a standard Pixel phone, and our review noted that it typically lasted an entire day with around 20% battery remaining, providing approximately six to eight hours of screen time. Its battery life became a primary reason for choosing it over the smaller Pro variant.
