Apple's top device protection offer is officially exiting the US market.

AppleCare One is going international, starting with four fortunate countries.

AppleCare One has spent its initial year exclusively in the United States. Now, Apple is allowing a few more countries to join. On August 4, AppleCare One will extend to the UK, France, Germany, and Australia, marking the first international launch of this bundled protection service since its US debut in July 2025.

The plan permits customers to cover up to three eligible Apple devices under a single monthly subscription, with the option to add more devices for an additional fee. This is particularly attractive for those who already own an iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac.

One subscription can cover multiple Apple devices.

In the UK, the starting price for AppleCare One will be £16.99 per month for three devices, with each extra product costing £4.99 monthly. Apple suggests that covering an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch could lead to savings of up to £11.48 a month compared to purchasing separate AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss plans.

In Australia, pricing begins at AU$29.99 per month, and additional devices will cost AU$8.99 each. France will likely initiate at €20.99 for three devices, with each additional device priced at €5.99. For context, the current US plan is priced at $19.99 per month for three devices and $5.99 for each added product.

AppleCare One covers unlimited accidental-damage repairs, battery service, priority Apple support, and Theft and Loss protection for qualifying iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches. The plan allows for up to three theft or loss claims each year across the covered devices.

One of the standout benefits of AppleCare One is that it’s not restricted to newly purchased products. Eligible devices can be up to four years old at the time of addition, as long as they are in good condition. However, headphones have a shorter eligibility period of one year. Apple may require a diagnostic assessment or in-store inspection for older devices.

This flexibility goes beyond the standard 60-day purchase window of AppleCare+ and could be particularly beneficial for users with several older devices still in regular use. Ultimately, the savings will depend on the user's existing devices. While three relatively inexpensive AppleCare+ plans might total less than an AppleCare One subscription, combinations involving more expensive iPhones, Macs, and other high-end devices could offer significant savings. Regardless, Apple customers outside the US now have another option to consider starting August 4.
