Razer introduces a Cinnamoroll Edition Kraken Kitty V2 BT headset

Razer's collaboration with Sanrio has resulted in a complete desk setup, and the final release has arrived. The company has unveiled the Razer Kraken Kitty V2 BT Cinnamoroll Edition, a wireless headset inspired by one of Sanrio's most famous characters.

Cinnamoroll is a white puppy created by Sanrio, the Japanese company known for Hello Kitty and many other globally recognized characters. He is characterized by his long floppy ears, blue eyes, curly tail, and a soft, cloud-like appearance. According to Sanrio's lore, he was born high in the clouds and can fly by flapping his large ears. Razer has embraced this identity for the headset, swapping out the usual kitty design for Cinnamoroll's floppy ears and a sky-blue color scheme.

What do you receive for the cost?

The Cinnamoroll Edition retails for $139.99 in the U.S., which is a significant increase from the standard Razer Kraken Kitty V2 BT, priced at $99.99. Thus, part of the cost is clearly attributed to the Sanrio branding.

The fundamental hardware remains unchanged. It features 40mm Razer TriForce drivers, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, and weighs 325 grams. Razer states that it has up to 40 hours of battery life, USB-C charging, oval ear cushions, built-in omnidirectional microphones, and two Razer Chroma RGB lighting zones on the ears and earcups.

What else is included in the collection?

The headset is the last release in Razer's Cinnamoroll series, which already features Cinnamoroll-themed products like the Razer Iskur V2 X NewGen gaming chair, Kraken V4 X wired headset, Ornata V3 Tenkeyless keyboard, Cobra mouse, and a Cobra plus Gigantus V2 mousepad bundle.

This new headset may not be the best choice if you’re solely focused on specifications. At this price point, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 is probably the better option. The Cinnamoroll Edition appeals to Sanrio fans who want their gaming setup to appear softer, cuter, and more aligned with the cloud-puppy theme, even if it means paying a premium for the aesthetic.

This AMD mini PC surpasses Valve’s Steam Machine, but at a higher price

The SteamOS on this AMD mini PC provides higher frame rates than Valve's hardware.

Valve's choice to support SteamOS 3.8 on standard gaming PCs has unlocked a new category of Steam Machines, removing the need for gamers to purchase Valve's own hardware. Recently, a benchmark from YouTuber ETA Prime indicates that a high-end AMD-powered mini PC can outperform Valve's forthcoming Steam Machine by a significant margin. However, it comes at a price that is several times higher. This testing underscores both the adaptability of SteamOS and the increasing allure of AMD's latest integrated graphics, but it prompts a crucial question: how much additional performance is worth the extra cost?

Dell’s new Alienware monitors are brighter, sharper, and less expensive than anticipated for an OLED upgrade

This 34-inch QD-OLED curved gaming monitor is surprisingly affordable.

OLED has been one of the most significant advancements in gaming monitors in recent years, though price has always been a concern. High-end OLED gaming monitors have predominantly occupied the enthusiast market, especially for larger panels exceeding 30 inches. Dell’s Alienware is making that leap somewhat more accessible with its new 34-inch ultrawide QD-OLED gaming monitor, the AW3426DW. Initially unveiled at CES 2026, it is now available as part of Alienware's 30th-anniversary collection, alongside two more budget-friendly VA models. At a price of $799.99, the AW3426DW is still pricey, but for a 34-inch ultrawide with a 5-stack Penta Tandem QD-OLED panel, this cost is lower than expected.

Criterion assures Burnout isn’t forgotten… but that fact raises concerns

Battlefield's success makes EA's choice understandable, but it creates a significant gap in arcade racing.

In a recent interview with IGN, Criterion reflected on its 30-year history, spanning from Burnout and Need for Speed to assisting in the revival of Battlefield. The studio emphasized that Burnout continues to be a vital part of its identity but acknowledged its future is now firmly connected to Battlefield.
