Google has announced the launch event for the Pixel 11, offering a glimpse of its new flagship design.
The Pixel 11 has been officially announced for the second week of August.
Google has confirmed the launch of the Pixel 11. The Made by Google 2026 event is set for August 12, 2026, which is a week earlier than last year. It will begin at 6 PM ET in New York City, a noticeably later time than Google typically selects.
In addition to confirming the date, Google released an invitation image featuring a gold metal frame, possibly giving us our best glimpse at the Pixel 11 Pro’s design, which showcases a flat frame and premium finish.
So, what can we expect on August 12?
The complete Pixel 11 lineup will be unveiled, comprising four models: the standard Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Additionally, the Pixel Watch 5 in two sizes is anticipated, along with new Pixel Buds Pro, although there have been no rumors regarding them.
As for the design, the Pixel 11 Pro will not see a major redesign. Leaked images indicate that it will feature the same flat metal frame and a prominent, pill-shaped camera module that nearly spans the entire width of the device.
A new feature called Pixel Glow, which is an RGB LED lighting addition that emerged in earlier leaks this year, might also be included. While it doesn’t appear in the invitation image, it could potentially be concealed beneath the black glass of the camera module.
Is there a downside?
Yes, it seems there is. A leak that surfaced shortly before Google sent out invitations suggests that the prices for the Pixel 11 will be significantly higher in Europe.
Reports indicate that Google will eliminate the standard 128GB storage option, which means the cheapest Pixel 11 configuration might start at 256GB and have an increased price of €100 compared to last year’s model.
This implies that the entry-level Pixel 11 could be priced at around €999 in Europe, with the Pixel 11 Pro starting at €1,199 and the Pixel 11 Pro XL at €1,399. While US pricing remains unconfirmed, the trend appears evident. It's clear that August 12 will be an important day for Google.

Your upcoming Teams meeting might feature an AI assistant that answers questions for you.
Microsoft Teams is undergoing a significant update that will change nearly every aspect of how the application is used, from AI-assisted meetings to a cleaner chat interface. Many of these updates are currently in testing, with several expected to be released before summer ends.
The most notable addition is an enhanced AI Facilitator that can listen during meetings, detect when someone appears confused, and generate a response for them.
Google’s pricing increase for the Pixel 11 may appear as a storage upgrade.
While price increases are expected for the Pixel 11, this might not necessarily be a negative change.
Google has started sending out invitations for its next Made by Google event, set for August 12. The Pixel 11 series is expected to be the highlight of the event, and if the latest pricing leak is accurate, consumers should expect a higher starting price this year.
According to Dealabs, the Pixel 11 lineup will remove the 128GB starting option, making 256GB the new base storage across the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. It also appears that prices will increase by 100 euros for all models.
If your iPhone shortcuts have been disappearing silently, iOS 27 has introduced a way to restore them.
There is now a button that facilitates this recovery.
If you frequently use Apple’s Shortcuts app, there’s a good chance that some of your automations have quietly disappeared without your notice. They likely still exist in iCloud but do not show up in your library. iOS 27 addresses this issue.
The Beta 3 of iOS 27 features a new Restore button located in Settings > Apps > Shortcuts. When the system identifies automations on your device that are not visible in your library, it will display a message indicating how many shortcuts are missing: "X shortcuts on this device aren't currently in your library."
