Boris Cherny, the head of Claude Code at Anthropic, provided a straightforward view on this trend. The vibe coding movement has significantly altered app development, leading to an 84 percent increase in App Store submissions and prompting Apple to regulate AI-generated apps. Cursor’s mobile app further advances this trend by enabling the management of complex coding tasks from a pocket-sized device.
