If you noticed that Hourly Activity and Naps were absent from Google Health, a recent update has reinstated them.

These features vanished after the latest redesign, and users quickly noticed.

Since Google rebranded the Fitbit app as Google Health, it has been continually evolving. Version 5.02 has arrived to address these issues, bringing back features that should not have been eliminated initially.

The two features that most users will recognize immediately are Hourly Activity and Naps, both of which had quietly been removed from the redesigned app (according to 9to5Google).

So, what exactly has returned in Google Health 5.02?

Hourly Activity now displays a chart showing your step progress for each hour alongside your daily step target. You can re-add it to your Today or Health tab using the customization option or pencil icon.

Naps have also made a comeback, although they are currently available only on Android. Recorded naps now appear in dedicated tabs within your daily Sleep Score view, making it easier to review and compare day-to-day. iPhone users can expect this feature in version 5.03.

The Restlessness bar is now located right beneath the sleep stages graph, enhancing readability of your restlessness/awake data. The ability to delete and edit sleep sessions has also been properly restored.

What other improvements has Google made in this update?

The Today tab now features an Expanded view option that allows you to see more metrics at once without having to swipe. Rearranging metrics on the Today tab is now more straightforward.

Nutrition tracking has seen three enhancements. Food search results load more quickly, estimated macronutrient information appears before you complete a food log, and the Nutrition tile has been updated to show your total calorie consumption alongside remaining calories for the day.

Android users will also see food search results displaying serving sizes and calorie counts directly in search, a feature that iOS users will receive in version 5.03. Additionally, you can now delete individual exercise sessions, food logs, and weight logs synced from partner apps directly within Google Health.

The Google Health app update is available on iOS, while the Android version is progressively rolling out.

Caviar's iPhone case costs three times more than the phone and features a real T-Rex tooth fragment.

Caviar has produced numerous exorbitantly priced custom phones in the past, but its latest iPhone accessory is truly unique (literally). The company's new Magnetic Custom Relict is a magnetic case for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, priced at $4,490. While the price may seem outrageous, it makes sense when you see what the case includes: a piece of Tyrannosaurus fossil embedded in the tip of its iconic checkmark design.

It's costlier than the phone it protects.

Nothing has scrapped its next budget phone, and the issue is more significant than you realize.

RAM has now become the most costly component in your forthcoming phone, with budget smartphones bearing the heaviest burden. Nothing has decided to cancel its next CMF Phone, which does not stem from the phone's own merits. Co-founder Akis Evangelidis confirmed on X that CMF will not release a new phone this year, pointing to the ongoing memory crisis, which appears to be worsening daily.

Samsung has officially confirmed the Exynos 2700, which is anticipated for the Galaxy S27.

The Exynos 2700 chipset for the Galaxy S27 may provide improved performance while consuming less power. Samsung has officially announced that the Exynos 2700 chipset is in development, marking the first direct confirmation of the next flagship processor's arrival. Samsung typically releases its Galaxy S flagship phones with two chip options: some markets receive Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon processor, while others get Samsung's Exynos chip. However, there have been exceptions in recent years, as both the Galaxy S23 and S25 series launched exclusively with Snapdragon processors, causing speculation about whether the Galaxy S27 will follow the same pattern.
