      According to recent leaks, Samsung is likely to keep both the charging speed and battery capacity mostly the same for the Galaxy Z Flip 8. If these reports are accurate, the device will stick with a 4,300mAh battery and 25W wired charging—specifications that are increasingly hard to defend as competitors advance considerably beyond them.

      The timing is particularly interesting because Samsung might be planning a charging upgrade for its larger foldable counterpart, the Galaxy Z Fold 8. Regulatory filings and industry insights suggest that the Fold 8 may increase to 45W charging, potentially leaving the Flip series behind once more.
