Corsair integrated the essence of the Elgato Stream Deck into a hotkey on its Nightsword v2 mouse.
Corsair has introduced the Nightsword v2 Wireless SD Stream Deck gaming mouse, a right-handed wireless mouse featuring a dedicated button for launching the Stream Deck, during Computex 2026.
The integration of Stream Deck support is developed in-house rather than through a partnership with a third party, as Corsair owns Elgato. This integration allows users to access Elgato’s shortcut system directly from the mouse, enabling gamers, streamers, and creators to initiate app, gaming, and workflow controls without needing a separate desktop panel.
Stream Deck controls are now conveniently at your fingertips.
The Nightsword v2 Wireless SD is recognized within the Stream Deck app. After establishing a connection, users can assign Stream Deck actions to the buttons on the mouse and access Virtual Stream Deck menus via the dedicated Launch Button.
After configuring the mouse in the Stream Deck app, users can set up shortcuts for Discord, microphone adjustments, audio levels, game startups, app switching, or complex multi-step actions. In gaming contexts, these shortcuts can facilitate commands, emotes, or repetitive tasks. For streaming or work purposes, they can minimize the number of clicks needed to mute a microphone, launch a tool, or switch between frequently used applications.
Additionally, the mouse can utilize plugins and profiles from the Elgato Marketplace, offering users greater flexibility to create app-specific controls rather than being limited to standard button remapping.
The mouse is equipped with robust gaming hardware.
While the Stream Deck button is a key highlight, the Nightsword v2 Wireless SD is also designed as a high-performance gaming mouse. It features an ergonomic right-handed design, a sculpted thumb rest, 11 buttons, and three-zone RGB lighting. The weight of the mouse is 89g.
Corsair has incorporated its Marksman S optical sensor, which allows for DPI adjustments ranging from 100 to 33,000 in 1-DPI increments. The primary buttons utilize optical switches that are rated for up to 100 million clicks, and the mouse supports a polling rate of 8,000Hz.
Connectivity options include 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.2 + LE, and wired USB. The battery life is rated for up to 170 hours over 2.4GHz with RGB lighting turned off at a 1,000Hz polling rate, or up to 47 hours at 8,000Hz polling. With lighting activated, Corsair estimates a battery life of up to 42 hours at 1,000Hz and 25.5 hours at 8,000Hz. The Bluetooth battery life is rated at up to 164 hours without backlighting.
The Nightsword v2 Wireless SD is priced at $129.99 and is currently available on the brand’s official website.
