The upcoming budget flagship from Samsung has just been revealed, and here's a glimpse of its design.
The Galaxy S26 FE is still a few months away, but case renders have already surfaced to reveal some details.
Samsung has an eventful second half of 2026 planned, featuring several Galaxy devices in development. Alongside the anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Ultra launch, one of the most awaited releases aimed at the budget-friendly segment is the Galaxy S26 FE.
Although its official launch is still some time off, SammyGuru has reported that a third-party case manufacturer has already begun offering protective cases for the device, providing the first glimpse of its design from various perspectives.
Has Samsung opted for a conservative approach with the S26 FE design?
The Galaxy S26 FE seems to take design cues from the Galaxy S26, characterized by flat edges, a raised camera area, and a minimalist front housing a centered punch-hole camera. The rear of the phone includes three cameras, strikingly similar to those of the standard Galaxy S26.
The front displays a flat screen with bezels that resemble those of the S25 FE. The volume rocker and power button are positioned on the right side in familiar locations.
Overall, the design does not present anything novel and feels quite recognizable. While this isn’t necessarily negative, it would have been nice to see a unique design that set the FE apart from the standard S26 series.
Will the Galaxy S26 FE finally feature Qi2 wireless charging?
Some leaked images indicate the presence of magnetic charging rings on the case, suggesting potential support for Qi2 wireless charging. However, given that even the flagship S26 series lacks Qi2 magnets, it is probable that Qi2 charging speeds will only be achievable with a compatible case.
The renders also hint at possible color options for the device. The Galaxy S26 FE may be available in violet, black, and grey. However, since these are preliminary third-party designs, it's possible the company may have made adjustments, and the final colors could differ entirely.
As for specifications, a Geekbench listing indicates it will be equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, which has already been featured in the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Additional rumors point to a 6.7-inch AMOLED display paired with a 4,900 mAh battery.
The specifications do not present anything groundbreaking, as they align with what is typically expected from a midrange flagship. The success of the launch will largely hinge on its pricing.
