Disney+ has officially announced the release date for VisionQuest, bringing the WandaVision trilogy closer to its ending.
VisionQuest is set to premiere on Disney+ on October 14, completing the WandaVision trilogy.
Marvel enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating this release. Disney announced during its Upfront presentation that VisionQuest, the spin-off of WandaVision featuring Paul Bettany, will debut on Disney+ on October 14.
This announcement was accompanied by a first-look teaser, and the presence of the stars made it particularly memorable. Bettany appeared alongside Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Hiddleston to give fans an initial look at what's in store.
What is the premise of VisionQuest and how does it fit into the MCU timeline?
WandaVision was the inaugural Marvel series on Disney+ in 2021, showcasing Vision and Wanda Maximoff in a surreal suburban life before Vision met his demise.
A reconstructed version, referred to as White Vision, later emerged with his memories intact, but without the emotional connections tied to those memories.

Originally created by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, Vision was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, then later rebuilt by S.W.O.R.D. as a weapon, before recovering his memories and going into hiding.
VisionQuest continues from this point. Marvel has described it as the conclusion of a trilogy that comprises WandaVision and the upcoming Agatha All Along, set to release in 2024.

Bettany has hinted that the series delves into Vision’s mind, which he characterized as more chaotic than expected, noting that Vision has stored and preserved other AIs within his psyche.
Who else joins the cast of VisionQuest?
Marvel Studios
James Spader returns as Ultron in human form, taunting Vision with references to Tommy Maximoff, known as Speed. James D’Arcy reprises his role as JARVIS, while Orla Brady plays FRIDAY, Emily Hampshire portrays EDITH, T’Nia Miller plays Jocasta, and Ruaridh Mollica portrays Tommy Maximoff.
Todd Stashwick portrays Paladin, a mercenary targeting Vision’s technology, and Faran Tahir returns as Raza from his Iron Man role. Terry Matalas of Star Trek: Picard is the showrunner for the eight episodes.
VisionQuest is not the only Marvel content coming this year. Daredevil: Born Again has already aired, and The Punisher: One Last Kill is currently streaming on Disney+. In late 2026, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday are also set to hit theaters.
