Disney+ has officially announced the release date for VisionQuest, bringing the WandaVision trilogy closer to its conclusion.

      Marvel fans have been anticipating this for a long time. Disney announced during its Upfront presentation that VisionQuest, a spin-off of WandaVision featuring Paul Bettany, will premiere on Disney+ on October 14.

      WandaVision was the inaugural Marvel series on Disney+ in 2021, showcasing the surreal suburban life of Vision and Wanda Maximoff before Vision's demise.

      A new version, called White Vision, subsequently appeared with his memories intact but lacking the emotional ties to those experiences.

      Originally created by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, Vision was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and later reconstructed by S.W.O.R.D. as a weapon before reclaiming his memories and going into hiding.

      VisionQuest continues from that point. Marvel describes it as the final chapter of a trilogy that includes WandaVision and 2024’s Agatha All Along.

      Bettany has indicated that the series explores Vision’s mind, which he portrays as more chaotic than one might assume, mentioning that Vision has been storing and duplicating other AIs within his consciousness.

      Who else will be featured in the VisionQuest cast?

      James Spader returns as Ultron in human form, taunting Vision with references to Tommy Maximoff, also known as Speed. James D’Arcy reprises his role as JARVIS, Orla Brady plays FRIDAY, Emily Hampshire appears as EDITH, T’Nia Miller portrays Jocasta, and Ruaridh Mollica plays Tommy Maximoff.

      Todd Stashwick portrays Paladin, a mercenary targeting Vision’s technology, and Faran Tahir returns to his Iron Man role as Raza. Terry Matalas from Star Trek: Picard is the showrunner for the eight-episode series.

      VisionQuest is not the only Marvel project on the horizon this year. Daredevil: Born Again has already wrapped up, and The Punisher: One Last Kill is currently available on Disney+. Additionally, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday are set for theater releases later in 2026.
