Claude AI is now capable of accessing emails, files, and can even perform tasks on your computer.
With Microsoft 365 integration now accessible to all users and its presence expanding on Windows, Claude is intentionally embedding itself into your everyday work routine.

Anthropic has been discreetly enhancing Claude with additional features, and this past weekend, they unveiled two updates that further integrate the AI assistant into your workflow and across your devices.
What has Claude recently connected to?
To start, Microsoft 365 integration is now available across all Claude plans, not just the premium versions. This update is especially significant for professional users, who can now connect their Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint directly to their Claude workspace.
With this integration, you can directly pull emails, documents, and files into your chat with Claude without needing to download them from the respective applications and then upload them again. Even users on the free plan can now have their inbox and file storage interact with Claude.
In my view, this move offers a considerable productivity increase for a much broader audience.
Is Claude taking over your Windows PC?
The second announcement is particularly relevant for anyone paying attention to Claude’s computer usage feature. This capability allows the AI assistant to open applications, navigate web browsers, fill out spreadsheets, and manage desktop tasks automatically, and it is now accessible on Windows via both Claude Cowork and Claude Code Desktop.
In essence, Windows users can finally entrust their machine to Claude. Collectively, these two updates illustrate Anthropic’s intention to transition the AI assistant from being merely a sophisticated chatbot that limits its most useful features to paid users, to an active contributor in your daily workflow.
The connection to Microsoft’s operating system and direct operation on a Windows PC addresses two major limitations in Claude’s everyday functionality, and does so even for users on the free plan. These updates are part of the company’s ambitious roadmap leading to 2026. Earlier this year, we saw Claude Cowork launch in January, a plugin marketplace in February, and Memory become available for all users in March.

Microsoft competes with Google and OpenAI with its own AI models
Microsoft's artificial intelligence team has just revealed its inaugural production AI models, and the pricing conveys a clear message to all competitors in the field.
Microsoft has released its own AI models with intentions to rival OpenAI and Google. The company has officially launched three proprietary models: MAI-Transcribe-1, MAI-Voice-1, and MAI-Image-2. These models can be accessed via the Microsoft Foundry platform and the MAI Playground.

Windows 11 to introduce haptic feedback for various tasks
Your PC might soon offer more than visual responses.
Windows PCs are set to become more tactile. Microsoft is currently testing a new form of interaction in Windows 11. This update doesn’t just visually indicate what is occurring on screen; it allows you to physically feel it as well. Slated for rollout in the latest Insider build, this update introduces haptic feedback for several common actions. It’s subtle, optional, and if implemented effectively, it could make Windows feel significantly more responsive.

Your IP address reveals more than you may realize.
Your location data can uncover much more than you might expect. It goes beyond just indicating where you are presently.
