For the first time, YouTube will broadcast Coachella in 4K, and there will also be a feed filmed on Pixel devices.
YouTube will be streaming all of Coachella 2026 for free, making it accessible from home starting April 10 at 4pm PDT. This year's livestream setup is the most ambitious yet, featuring seven stages that will be streamed simultaneously. There will also be a new vertical feed filmed entirely on Pixel phones, providing a unique way to experience the festival.
YouTube's enhancements for the Coachella 2026 experience include 4K streaming for the first time across three stages: the main Coachella Stage, the Outdoor Theatre, and the Sahara. This will look great if you have a large screen at home.
The Quasar stage will feature a dedicated vertical livestream, showcasing the camera capabilities of Google Pixel devices alongside the music.
For viewers who can't decide which stage to watch, the Multiview feature allows streaming from up to four stages simultaneously on your TV, letting you switch between audio feeds. Last year, over half of the total livestream watchtime came from home viewers, so this feature is quite practical.
Additionally, a 24/7 "Coachella TV" channel will air throughout the festival, blending archival performances with highlights from 2026 for continuous music enjoyment.
There are also interactive elements for those streaming Coachella at home. The “Watch With” series returns for the second weekend, featuring popular YouTube creators joining artists for live reactions and commentary. Valkyrae will participate for KATSEYE, while Daniel Wall will cover Fujii Kaze.
A virtual merchandise store through YouTube Shopping will offer exclusive items from artists like BINI, Laufey, Ethel Cain, Foster the People, The xx, and Turnstile. Viewers can shop for limited-edition festival merchandise by scanning a QR code displayed on screen.
The experience is rounded out by a dedicated Coachella livestream app available on Android and iOS, equipped with Gemini-powered scheduling tools. This setup provides an excellent at-home festival experience, whether you’re a devoted fan or simply looking for a weekend of fantastic music.
