Samsung has officially expanded its 2026 TV lineup, with a clear emphasis this year on enhancing Mini LED screens and integrating smarter AI features across more price brackets.
Samsung
According to the company’s announcement, the new collection includes updated Neo QLED 4K TVs along with an entirely new series of Mini LED TVs, which improve brightness, contrast, and AI-driven enhancements for a broader audience. The goal here is not just to introduce high-end upgrades, but to make advanced display technology more accessible to more consumers.
What’s new in Samsung’s 2026 TVs?
The major change involves Samsung restructuring its product lineup. At the pinnacle of the Mini LED offerings are the Neo QLED models, such as the QN80H and QN70H, which use Quantum Mini LED backlighting combined with quantum dot color for superior brightness and color accuracy. These models also feature real-time AI optimization, enhancing both picture and sound based on the content being viewed.
Samsung
In addition, Samsung has launched a fresh range of standard Mini LED TVs (including the M70H and M80H). These models are more budget-friendly while still utilizing Mini LED backlighting, but they sacrifice some premium aspects like quantum dot color to achieve lower prices. Notably, Samsung is also phasing out some older models, including the QN90 series, to concentrate more on new display technologies and realign its product range.
Samsung
For features, a significant highlight is the inclusion of Vision AI Companion in the new TVs. This feature aims to provide more personalized viewing experiences, optimizing picture quality in real-time and enhancing lower-resolution content. Furthermore, features like AI upscaling and HDR enhancement are intended to make older content appear sharper and more vibrant, which has become a prominent selling point given the varying quality of streaming content.
